Description: Bourbon barrel-aged Barleywine Style Ale with hazelnut, coconut, coconut sugar, and vanilla beans. For our first canned barrel aged beer, we had to deliver something special. Since we’ve had our pasteurizer, we’ve been able to back sweeten beer without the risk of refermentation in the package, and this is our first time using coconut sugar, which lends a deeper, nuttier sweetness to the finished beer. Pair that with coconut & hazelnut toasted by our friends at the Jackie O’s Bakeshop and a heap of Congolese and Malagasy vanilla and we’re left with an explosive adjunct character on this debut beer for barrel aged cans!

- Palate: Hazelnut spread, creme brulee, nutty toffee
